[The First Official Meeting] 29th April 2009

Well... We have succeeded in our first meeting today! We have 2 Toastmasters Evaluator today, that's Mr. Sita Ram ATMB and Mrs. Wendy CTM, CL with her daughter.

Today's meeting was started at 4.10 p.m. and adjourned at 6,00 p.m. sharp.

The meeting is started with President's Welcome Address. He was asked to decide our regular meeting day, either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and finally, most of the member do agreed that the meeting should be held on Wednesday.

The Inspirer later plays the role. After that, the guest and the role player are introduced. And then, the word master introduced the word "Leeway" and it is used my most of the speakers and even the evaluator themselves.

In the Table Topic Session, the title of the topic is "Teaching Science and Mathematics - English or Malay". The members are scared to talk at the beginning but the fire starts after a few speakers tell their opinions..A round and another round of applause make the members feels like wanted to talk.

After the Table Topic that is the Manual Speech Projects, the evaluators are needed to read out the objectives of the project and the duration. Ryne was the first speaker, followed by Jim, Richard and lastly Tess. The all performed well.

After a 5-minutes break, the humour sessions starts, the humour master tells a joke that is self-depracating and no one did laugh for it, but anyway, it's really a good try since it is his first time!

Evaluations of speechs is done by Mrs. Wendy CTM, CL on Gavelier Richard and Ryne and Mr. Sita Ram evaluating Jim and Tess. They all do need to improve at some points.

The reports from the role player is over and the date of the next meeting is issued to be on 6th of May from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Thank you.
